We want to give you all the information you could possibly need about our wedding and related festivities.

The Gist

    please arrive around 3:30pm

    ceremony at 4pm and celebration to follow

  • cocktail attire, colors encouraged!

    for men: suit and tie

    for women: knee-length or longer dresses

    please wear or bring layers

  • dinner menu: lemon herb chicken, cavatappi with romesco sauce and zucchini, sides of rolls, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus

    bar: "regular" and non-alcoholic beer, wine, and signature cocktail. soda and water also available!

When

  • please RSVP as soon as you know you are able to make it, but please book your travel (car AND hotel) around the same time!

    If you do not RSVP, you will be marked as not attending.

  • please arrive at Wyndcrest Estate around 3:30pm

    please take a seat for the ceremony, which will begin at 4pm

    celebration to immediately follow

  • food will be available starting around 5pm, beginning with an assortment of cocktail hour offerings and followed by a full dinner (around 6:30) and ice cream sundae bar (around 8).

  • the registry is open now, and you have until the day after the wedding to contribute

  • if you’re flying in, please plan to arrive by Friday, May 9

    if you’re driving, you are welcome to arrive whenever is most convenient, but we recommend staying overnight in CT

    the venue is both indoor and outdoor and has large areas of grass and gravel

    please plan accordingly (layers and appropriate footwear)

  • please park in the grass to the right or left of the gravel road leading up to the venue

  • Kate and Nick live in Woodbury, CT

What

  • expect a less traditional event—lots of activities (like crafts, games, and dancing), great food, quieter areas for breaks, and lots of delightful people

  • cocktail attire, colors encouraged!

    our wedding party will be in shades of blue

    for men: suit and tie

    for women: knee-length or longer dresses

    everyone is welcome to wear sneakers, as there are large areas of grass and gravel at the venue

    if you choose to wear heels, please pick a block heel or wear heel protectors

    please wear or bring layers!

  • can bring: kids, layers, comfy shoes

    cannot bring: pets, cigarettes, negative attitude

  • to eat: SO MUCH fresh, local food.

    apps include fresh veggies, hummus, fresh bread and butter, local cheeses and jams.

    dinner includes lemon herb chicken, cavatappi with romesco sauce and zucchini, sides of rolls, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.

    dessert will be an ice cream bar.

    to drink: alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer, wine, and signature cocktail

    also available: soda, water, selection of juice

  • average temperatures for May in CT range from highs in the 70s to lows in the mid-40s, so please dress accordingly

  • so many things! visit Quassy Amusement Park, hike at Flander’s or Steep Rock Preserve, visit the Woodbury Fire Department, eat at West Egg Cafe or Annoula’s Tavern, and/or come see our home!

Who

  • Katlyn Segrin and Nicholas Abouzeid. You may know them as Kate and Nick.

  • to Connecticut? whatever is easiest. plane, train, or automobile are all great options. bonus points for helicopter or horseback.

    to the wedding venue?

    car is best. please note that Uber is not readily available, but we don’t want anyone to drink and drive.

    please check with Kate if you would like to volunteer to become, or request, a designated driver!

  • in Connecticut? probably forever

    at the wedding? whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you

    we recommend that you arrive for the wedding weekend by Friday, May 9 if flying in, or the morning of Saturday, May 10 if driving (less than 3 hours)
